40M4-18 is a 4-element antenna on a 18 m boom (0.43 wavelength).

  • The boom has original design which gives the antenna extra high durability.
  • This antenna has been modelled and optimized for the highest Gain and optimal F/B.
  • The input resistance of the antenna is 28 Ω. Feeding by 50 Ω coaxial cable through a quarter -wave transformer. Such a transformer can be ordered with antenna.
  • Full -size antenna elements are supported in a vertical and horizontal plane with strong UV-resistant guy wires.
  • The antenna can be specially optimized for working in stack of similar 2-, 3- or 4 antennas.
  • Weight - 110 kg.
  • To rotate the antenna, a gearbox such as PST-61B, PST-71D Prosistel, OR-2800 Orion M2 is suitable.
